How do I get my rate plans synchronized properly with my e-channel?

If the accommodation option is connected to an e-channel, then all price and availability changes should be made through the online account of the e-channel.

So that synchronizing is carried out correctly:

  1. Contact the e-channel in order for them to send a request to connect the accommodation option to our technical service;
  2. As soon as we receive the request from the e-channel, the accommodation option will be connected;
  3. After connection, open the online account in the e-channel and synchronize the rates with the Emerging Travel Group sites;
  4. For correct synchronization in the Emerging Travel Extranet, you need to create all categories and rates that exist in the online account in the e-channel. The categories and rates should first be created in the Emerging Travel Extranet.

Note that only independent rates receive information about prices from the e-channel directly. Rates that are automatically calculated in the Emerging Travel Extranet are recalculated in the Emerging Travel Extranet based on the discounts that you set for them. For example, if you created a Non-refundable rate in the Emerging Travel Extranet with a discount of 15% compared with the Standard rate, the Emerging Travel Extranet will receive prices of the standard rate from the e-channel but will calculate the Non-refundable rate based on a discount of 15% to it no matter which price is set for this rate in the e-channel. If you want the prices of all rates to be sent directly from the e-channel, then send an email to hotels@emergingtravel.com with a request to make all rates in the Emerging Travel Extranet independent  (in the email, please show the ID of the accommodation option and names of the rates and your e-channel).

Note that minimum stay restrictions sent from the e-channel take priority over the settings in the Emerging Travel Extranet. For example, if in the Emerging Travel Extranet you set a rate called Stay period with the minimum number of nights set to five, but in the e-channel this restriction has not been set, Emerging Travel Extranet will receive information that this rate can be booked for a period starting from one night.

Note that the policies for meals, booking cancellations, no-shows, bank card details requests, and prices of additional places are set exclusively within the Emerging Travel Extranet.
