How to freeze participation in the GURU program for 30 days a year
Updated yesterday

All GURU program participants can choose any 30 days a year during which GURU discounts and GURU bonuses will not apply. In this case, the accommodation retains the program symbol and the property is displayed in the search results using the “GURU Discounts” filter.

How to freeze participation in the program for certain dates

Go to the GURU page in the “Promo” section. Scroll to the “30 days without GURU” block, and click “Select dates.”

In the window that opens, select the dates you want to freeze the program for. Click “Save changes.”

You can set a “freeze for any dates” up to three years in advance, starting from the current day. The freeze period does not have to be consecutive — you can select any 30 days in a calendar year.

For example, you can set the following freeze periods:

  • January 1–10 (10 days)

  • March 10–12 (3 days)

  • April 25 (1 day)

  • May 1–9 (9 days)

  • September 22–26 (5 days)

  • October 6 (1 day)

  • November 4 (1 day)

In the “30 days without GURU” block, you can check which dates have already been frozen.

How to remove the freeze from certain dates

Go to the GURU page in the “Promo” section.

Scroll to the “30 days without GURU” block, click “Freeze dates.”

In the window that opens, click on the dates you want to remove the freeze from (available options are marked in blue). Click “Save changes.”

You can select dates no earlier than two weeks from the current day. For example, on June 1, you will not be able to remove the freeze for dates up to and including June 14.

What is important to know

If a booking for certain dates was made before you set the freeze, GURU discounts and GURU bonuses will remain in effect. Guests must be accommodated under the conditions specified in the booking confirmation.

Unused GURU freeze days expire on January 1 at 00:00. For example, if you used 20 freeze days in 2024, the remaining 10 days would expire at 00:00 on January 1, 2025, Moscow time.
