GURU is a marketing program for Ostrovok.ru partners that will help you to stand out in the search results, attract a high-quality target customer group, and increase your income.
It’s free to participate in the program and the conditions are as flexible as possible. You can offer guests discounts and bonuses at your discretion; it’s even more efficient to manage sales and control the development of your business.
How the program works
The program has four levels: the more completed bookings a traveler has, the higher the level he earns.
To participate in the program, you need to offer a discount on the most popular and cheapest room categories. If these categories coincide, the discount is applied to one category.
You decide on the amount of the discount yourself, but the higher your level in the loyalty program, the higher the discount must be. For example, the discount for the third level GURU must not be lower than the discount for the second level GURU.
You can offer the discount at any number of levels, but we recommend turning on all four at once because this way you will attract a higher quality of target customer group.

Important: after you join the program and add discounts for GURU users, all rates for active users will be converted to standard rates. B2B and package rates will remained unchanged.

As a rule, they choose a property and search for options with heightened comfort, cancel bookings less often, and leave positive reviews on a regular basis.

A special section in the search results with a brightly-colored symbol and GURU discounts will help with this. When searching on the map, your property will also stand out with a special icon.

The program’s participants (GURU levels 3 and 4 guests and all GURU hotels) receive priority support when contacting our experts with questions.

How to sign up for the program
Register in the Extranet of Ostrovok.ru. Skip this step if you are already connected to the Extranet.
Open the “Promo” section and select the GURU program.
Select the levels that you would like to add special rates for and specify the amount of the discount.
Add the room categories that the discount will apply to.

How to deactivate the program
You can turn off GURU rates at any time – for example, during the high season. To do this, you must:
Open the “Promotion” section.
Select the GURU program.
Click “Deactivate the GURU program”.
After this, the program will be deactivated immediately, and rates for GURU users and the highlighting of your property (the program’s symbol) will disappear.
You can reactivate the GURU program at any time.
