To keep track of settlements with ETG and close reporting periods on time, it is important to understand how to work with the key tools: reconciliation and the agent report. You will find detailed guidance in this article.
What is reconciliation
Reconciliation is the process of verifying booking information for the reporting month before invoices are issued. The reconciliation period is the first 5 business days of the month following the reporting month.
For example, the reconciliation period for September 2025 bookings runs from October 1 to October 7 inclusive.
What to do during the reconciliation period
Review the list of bookings in your account and compare the data with the actual stay dates and booking amounts.
Report any issues you find.
Mark no-shows if this has not been done previously.
How to complete reconciliation in ETG’s Extranet
Go to “Contracts and bills” → “Reconciliation.”
If you work under the Hybrid model, review the data in both the Agency and Merchant tabs.
Check the booking details and contact support if you notice any issues.
If everything is correct, no action is required. The reconciliation will be accepted automatically.
What is the agent report
The agent report is a detailed document that includes:
A list of all bookings for the reporting month
Guest stay dates
Commission amount for each booking
NET prices (excluding commission) and BAR prices (including commission)
Final payment balance at the beginning and end of the reporting period
How to download the agent report
Go to “Contracts and Bills” → “Bills.”
Select the Agency or Merchant tab.
In the “Paperwork” column, click “Report.”
If you find mismatches, pay special attention to the final payment balance line at the end of the report — it may indicate an outstanding balance owed by the property or by ETG at the beginning of the month.
