Roles of Emerging Travel Extranet users

  1. Master – has access to all sections and functionality, can also delete the account, add hotels, delete any users and add any users. Created as follows:

  • Upon initial registration, when the hotel is created;

  • May be created manually by another master;

  • May be promoted to a master by another master (if prior to this they were, for example, an accountant).

Booking manager – their main function is managing bookings (confirmation, cancelation, non-shows and so on), managing availability and communications with users. Has the following access:

  • Bookings tab – access to the chat and calls to guests functionality, access to reconciliation;

  • Availability, prices and restrictions tab – may edit the Availability and Restrictions sections and view the Prices section;

  • Hotel tab – access to the Stay conditions section (setting the additional beds and children’s policies), and viewing access to the other sections;

  • Access to the guests’ profiles.

Content manager – their main function is managing the hotel content (photos, amenities, policies, description, handling reviews). Has the following access:

  • Hotel tab – editing of all information;

  • Creating new rooms and editing existing ones;

  • Bookings tab – only viewing, but they have access to the Call the guest and Write to the guest functionality.

Account – their main function is reconciling invoices, paying and / or issuing invoices. Has the following access:

  • Bookings tab, Viewing section - only viewing;

  • Bookings tab, Reconciliation section - editing;

  • Invoices tab - editing of all sections;

  • Access to the guests’ profiles.

Sales manager - their main functions are sales and setting prices. Has the following access:

  • Availability, prices and restrictions tab;

  • Bookings tab, Reconciliation section;

  • Bookings tab, Viewing section - only viewing, but they have access to the Call the guest and Write to the guest functionality;

  • Invoices tab;

  • Rooms tab;

  • Hotel tab, Reviews section.
