According to ETG statistics, 99% of users pay attention to the main property photo, and 70% of guests view all 10 photos on the search results page. To increase your chances of getting bookings, please follow the recommendations in this article.
1. General photos of the property
Go to the "Hotel" → "Information" section. Click the edit icon in the "Hotel Photos" block.
Drag and drop or select 10 to 50 photos: facade, reception, lobby, restaurant, gym, pool, and other public areas.
Click "Save."
2. Room photos
Go to the "Rooms and rates" section and select the grouping by room.
Open the desired room category and click "Photos" on the left panel.
Upload 3 to 25 photos that are specific to this room category.
Important: Do not upload general property photos at this step.
3. File requirements
Format: JPEG or PNG.
File size: no more than 4 MB.
Resolution and orientation:
Horizontal photos: minimum 1024×768 pixels
Vertical photos: minimum 576×768 pixels.
Recommended aspect ratio is 4:3.
Number of photos:
General property photos: 10 to 50.
Room photos: 3 to 25 per category.
File names: Use simple names without special characters. If possible, number the files for automatic sorting.
Photo quality and content:
✅ Clear images, natural lighting, no blur.
✅ Real photos (renders and collages are allowed only for new properties preparing to open).
❌ Personal belongings of guests and people in the frame (except front desk staff).
❌ Logos, frames, effects, watermarks, macro photography, holiday decorations.
❌ Panoramic shots, photos with time or date stamps
4. Photo order
You can change the order of photos in the gallery yourself. To do this:
Click and hold the left mouse button on the photo preview.
Drag the photo to the desired place in the gallery. The new order will be saved automatically.
5. Deleting and replacing photos
You can delete and replace photos yourself. To do this:
Hover the cursor over the preview and click the trash icon.
Confirm the deletion.
Upload a new photo as per the instructions above, if required.
6. Uploading features by property type
Properties classified as "Accommodation with rooms" can upload general property photos in the "Hotel" section and room photos in the "Rooms and rates" section:
