How to enable two-factor authentication

We do everything possible to protect Extranet users’ data. One of the key security tools is two-factor authentication.

How two-factor authentication works

When logging into the Emerging Travel Group’s Extranet, you need to enter not only your username and password but also a special verification code. This is an extra layer of security that helps prevent unauthorized access to your account.

How to receive the code

There are two options:

  • By email

  • By SMS

You can select your preferred method in Profile Settings → “Two-Factor Authentication.” The average delivery time for the code is two minutes.

When the system requests a code

A verification code is required during unusual login attempts:

  • From a new device

  • From a new IP address

  • During other actions that differ from typical user behavior

This allows the system to promptly respond to potential threats and protect access to your data.

What to do if you don’t receive the code

If you have chosen to receive the code by email:

  • Check your Spam folder.

  • Request the code again.

  • If the issue persists, contact support via chat.

If you have chosen to receive the code by SMS:

  • Make sure your mobile network is available and you’re receiving other SMS messages.

  • Contact your mobile operator to rule out technical delays.

  • If the problem remains unresolved, contact support via chat.

How to further protect your account

  • Do not share your username, password, or other personal data with third parties.

  • Delete profiles of employees who no longer work with your property from your account in a timely manner.

  • Update your account password every three months. If you receive a suspicious activity alert or follow an unknown link, change your password as soon as possible.

  • Do not install suspicious applications on devices that you use to access the Extranet.

  • Do not respond to suspicious emails and messages on social networks, messengers, or by email; do not follow links in such emails and messages. If in doubt, contact support via chat to verify the authenticity of the message.
